As much as I try to keep this site up to date I am often far behind, but I am very active on social media so please like/follow me on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Threads for recent posts about my adventures and projects.

About Me

I am a woman with many obsessions and creative outlets. I grew up in northern Virginia and moved to western Washington over a decade ago. My family consists of myself, my son, my spouse, a black cat named Gally, and often another cat or two that we have taken in off the street to find homes for. We have lived in many cities around the Seattle area but now take residence in Tacoma.

I love to travel, I am obsessed with hiking, camping, backpacking, and traveling overseas, and I take tons of photos when I do any of those things. I get paid to do busy computer stuff for a non-profit that helps families with urgent mental health needs.

I also volunteer for the Snoqualmie Fire Lookout Association and Forest Fire Lookout Association, which means often working closely with the National Forest Service. See my Instagram for more information about this. Ask me anything about visiting and staffing fire lookouts, I am always happy to share my knowledge on this subject.

When I am not walking in the forest, doing busy computer stuff, or cuddling kitties, I am usually in my studio working on some art project. I have been creative all my life, always making things to give as gifts to my family and friends. I have taken plenty of specialized art classes and will take many more whenever given the opportunity. Learning is fun!
